As part of cultural and educational cooperation between Russia and Finland SPbSUITD takes part in the implementation of the international innovative project “Contents for Cross-Cultural Events” from December 1, 2018.

The project is implemented under a cross-border cooperation program and is funded by European Union, Russian Federation and Republic of Finland.

The total project budget is 751500 €.

Project partner from the Russian side is Institute for Cultural Programs, from the Finnish side is the leading partner - the University of Applied Sciences of South-Eastern Finland.

The project is aimed at developing innovative ways of managing and marketing among representatives of creative industries focused on international cooperation, entrepreneurship, and using such competitive advantages as sustainable development, creativity and ethics.

The main objectives of the project are:

• implementation of one or several international creative events (festivals) using innovative methods of management and marketing in the cultural sphere;
• creating a conceptual plan for arrangement of activities;
• development and implementation of educational programs (lecture courses), based on the results of project research in the field of festival management and management in the fashion industry.

The project’s contribution to the development of cross-border cooperation between Russia and Finland consists in creating of consolidate international teams of professionals with the necessary skills in the field of management and marketing of creative events, well-established network interaction and capable of training new specialists.

The duration of the project: from 01/12/2018 to 30/11/2021.
