Who has a right to participate
Young designers aged between 16 and 40 are eligible to participate in Admiralty Needle International Contest.
Participation Fees
For those who have succeeded in the semi-final in accordance with the category:
- Footwear and accessories — 5,000 roubles
- Children’s wear — 5,000 roubles
- Apparel — 7,000 roubles
- Furboom — 2,000 roubles
- Fashion photography contest – 1,000 roubles
- Fashion illustration contest – 2,000 roubles
Contest Rounds
First Round – Application Round
The organization committee of the Сontest accepts applications to participate in the Contest from December 31, 2018 to March 21, 2019. Applications are submitted online via the Contest website. Photo materials of the collection including from 5 to 7 outfits in either JPEG or TIFF graphical format have to be attached to the application.
For Fashion illustration contest, from 3 to 5 collection sketches of high artistic standard are to be submitted in A3 size in either JPEG or TIFF graphical format with 300dpi resolution.
The application deadline is midnight, March 21, 2019.
Second Round – Selection Round
Results of the selection round — lists of semi-finalists — are published on the Contest website after 6 pm on April 1, 2019.
The organization committee of the Contest sends out invitations to the finalists to participate in the Contest final that is on-site stage of the Contest. All contestants who have applied will be notified of their results via e-mail.
Semi-final Round
The opening of the Contest and semi-final round take place on April 22.
The international jury of the Contest personally assesses the collections. The results of the semi-final are published on the Contest website on April 22 at 11 pm.
Final Round
On April 25, 2019, final Gala catwalk show and award ceremony take place in the concert hall of Saint Petersburg State University of Industrial Technologies and Design. The international jury selects prize-winners of the Contest.
Results of the Contest are published during the final gala catwalk show on April 25, 2019. Grand-prix winner and other prize-winners are announced.
